Cubs back on home soil, end 3 game losing streak

#TheACE Jon Lester notched his 4th win of the season on Monday night.

WRIGLEY FIELD- The Cubs fell to 2nd place (2.5 games behind the Milwaukee Brewers to be exact) after a weekend sweep at the hands of the St. Louis Cardinals but some good ol home cooking got them back in the W column as they took care of the Los Angeles Angels 8-1 in a "snowed-out" makeup game from April 14th. The offensive attack was led by Javier Baez (2-4 1 HR 3 RBI) & Jason Heyward (2-4 2 RBI/6 game hit streak).

#TheACE Jon Lester was back on his A-game as he picked up his 4th win of the year. He went seven innings giving up 4 hits and 1 run while walking 1 and striking out 6. He threw 108 pitches, 70 for strikes. "I felt a lot better...I had command of the curveball and changeup for most of the day. The play by #CarGo changes the whole outcome of the game," said Lester.

The Cubs welcome the Colorado Rockies in for a 3 game set before they look for revenge against the division rival Cardinals in a 3 game weekend set.
