Mount Carmel took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of 3 on a dropped third strike throwing error by Broncos catcher Daniel Luster that scored Kolin Adams.
Luster got his chance at redemption in the top of 6 and came through big time as his two RBI single led a five run charge. RBIs from Damaurion Butler, Josiah Patterson and Phillip Thigpin put the game out of reach.
Starter Evan Stinson had a day on the bump for Kenwood going 5.1 innings, scattering seven hits and striking out four allowing no earned runs.
That's a big momentum win for Kenwood as they are now 6-5-1. The Caravan fall to 12-6.
*Kenwood still has not played a home game on their newly renovated field that was supposed to be completed by the end of March.
Mount Carmel
Brady Holland 2-2
TJ McQuillan 2-3
