Synopsis - In what was his most efficient work of the season, it was business as usual. CJ struck out the side in a crucial point of the game where the Cubs led 1-0 going into the bottom of the 6th. His curveball was WORKING as he fanned Goodwin, Harper & Zimmerman with the good ole "Uncle Charlie!" His fastball was steady at 97 but the way his curveball was set up, there was no need to challenge them. "SQUAD SHIT BRUH! Man I haven't had one of those in a while and it felt so good," is what he told me this morning. Edwards is 2-1 with a 1.72 ERA in 33 appearances. He's given up 12 hits & 6 runs while walking 14 and striking out 44. Opponents have a .119 batting average against CJ. He continues to let the work show!
